But I have to say the Staff of the Magi is one of my favorites. Hey, Its awesome. Need I say more?

where did you find all three of those items?

Staff of the Magi is cheat-generated. The other two are two of the Legendary Artifacts of the game, which you need to find pieces of and get Cromwell (the dwarf in Docks district) to forge them into a real weapon. If you go to play BG2 Online at Mplayer.com, look for a game called "Mists of Shadow." I can give you all three of the artifacts thenhttp://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif

The Staff of the Magi can be made in the game. It is part of the Mage Stronghold. Your three apprentices make it, but you have to be a Mage in order to get it (hence, Mage Stronghold [Planar Sphere]).

And Celestial Fury is great, too.
As to items - Ring of Gaxx, Boots of Speed and Cloack of Mirroring.

Talking about staffs - what is the name of the Staff that can be obtained defeating RuneGroup? Nice staff it is...

Um, actually, you get the staff from the Twisted Rune fight in the Bridge District.

As for best weapons, the holy avenger (can never spell the name right, so won't bother trying), Crom Faeyr, the vorpal sword. Two of the three are two-handed swords, so good to have people with proficiency in that weapon (if you are a paladin, then DEFINITELY take specialization in two-handed sword).
