We lost Yoshimo to a petrification trap and he disappeared.(actually he became a statue). Is there anyway to reverse this?

I assume you are new to the game as well as the forum.

I think you are probably early on in the game, yes?

Ok you need to buy a scroll called stone to flesh and then put it in your quick items slot, and use it on Yoshimo.

Alternatively you may have a magic user who has that spell at their disposal.

There is also a Spell that can prevent this. Protection from Petrification. One of your Saves is vs. Petrification also.

There is no stupid questions or any reason to feel stupid, because this is unreal to know absolutely everything http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif. Do you remember - "no single character can handle every situation..."?
Anyway, petrification can be a difficult problem if you have not proper protection scrolls with you, but you can always go to the nearest merchant, buy the scrolls and return to the location where your poor petrified comrade stands - he won't go anywhere, so free him when you please http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif.
