How do you import a character from BG?

Copy your Baldur's Gate I saved game to the save directory for Shadows of Amn. During character creation click on import. It will ask you where you want to import from ... click on saved game. The game you copied from your BG1 to BG2 save directory should show up on the list. Click that game and click on your character and that's it http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif
