Is there any advantage/disadvantage to play one type of evil alignment over another ( lawful/chaotic/neutral ). I know that for mages, the familiars are different. Any one better than other there?

Each alignment means a different thing. Lawful means you try to abide by the law while doing your evil things, Neutral (I'm not really sure), and Chaotic is you kill everything just for the fun of it. Basically, Sarevok was a Lawful Evil character, a Drow is a Neutral Evil character, and a crazed Wolfwere would probably be a Chaotic Evil character.

Neutral Good/Evil characters just want to be left alone. True Neutral seek the equillibrium between the forces of nature.

Apart from poleplaying issues and the aforementioned differences in mage familiars, the only difference that I can think of is that CE starts with one less reputation point.

the Neutual mages get nice pickpocketing, detect/disarm, doorpicking & hide in shadows, but the rabbit is the only one that only hides in shadows and detects traps (lawful neutual: ferret, True Neutual: Rabbit, Chaotic Neutual: cat.).
