Me and a friend want to play over the net (Protocol, Ipx Tcp/ip, Modem and serial) and im pretty sure serials the one, can someone tell me how to work the serial? also, he lives in texas so im sure the other ones wont work.

Ive always used TCP/IP, you just start a multiplayer game, and when the character control screen appears you have to wait for the other players. In order to join the game, they have to know your IP (you can get it by typing "ipconfig" in the MSDOS), then they select Join game, type the IP and its done.

You can also install Gamespy. It's much easier that way.

My friend says he doesn't see the loading screen and it allways times out without him...
