On the magic door leading to the shadow dragon the red sung gem taken from the amunator puzzle unlocks it right? so why doesnt mine unlock?

-spoiler- you will need all three pieces to the symbol of the Amunator to unlock the door and there is one barrier that never opens you have to find the way around it in order toget to the door to the shadow dragon and -spoiler-
when you do meat the shadow dragon attack him first with everything you got if you plain to beat him
