When I try to get some more, I recieve the "You can only control five monster at a time" message. But I have only one summoned!
What to do?

Did you leave behind any of your summoned monsters?

They only get unsummoned when you come back to the place where you left them.
Also if any got imprisoned they will count against you.

Dear, dear.......this sounds bad. Rest a couple of times - that'll make sure that some time limits are up for some monsters (like skeleton warriors). Then revisit the places (try to do them in a order so that you can keep track).

I remember I found my two stupid kobolds petrified within a little tomb.
