Poor Aerie, low hit points, and she seems to draw the attention of the most powerful enemies. i usually have to send my fighters in to rescue her. But, i love her nonetheless, and let me tell you why. My first time through the game i maxed out all my characters stats, (with shadowkeeper). Aerie is a walking powerhouse of magic. she had more spells than my PC, who is a mage, and edwin combined. She had something like 7 pages of spells in her quickbar. Now i am going through the game normally without cheating, and i cant wait for her to get that power legitimately. Just keep her out of melee, and she will be unstoppable...theres my two cents.....

Aerie is a good because she is a mage/cleric. That is the only reason I have her around in my party b/c I get 2 for 1. IMHO...edwin, imoen, and nalia are all better mages, but combine the cleric part for Aerie and you have a kick-ass spellcaster http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif

That's why you need to protect her, not turn her into a warlock!

I think she's one of the best NPC's in the game. Obviously because she's multi-classed she takes longer to level up but stick with her and she's a fantastic addition to any party imho.

Aerie is a sensitive woman, you inhuman pigs (joking) . How dare you make fun of her. She's not whining. She's just expressing the extrreme pain she has come to suffer over the yeras. Be a real man, and help her.

Personally I just love her when the romance develops. She turns into such a nice person.

I just thought of something. Aerie is supposed to have been taught by Quayle, right? And in BG1 Quayle was also a Cleric/Mage. So Aerie is the Quayle of BG2? Completely opposite characters however. Does anybody remember Quayle from BG1? God this guy's changed. Storywise it doesn't make sense to. I had Quayle in my party in Bg1. So if I was captured soon after leaving Baldur's Gate when did he have time to joinm the circus, find Aerie, rase her, and then let have her change his character?
