I have been given the quest to defeat Bodhi in the Graveyard district and my
question is this..........is there still time and opportunity for quests to
build up XP before stomping her?

Are you in Chap 2 or Chap 6? Kind of determines how much you need to 'beef' up

I think he is in Chapter 2.
He won't be this unconfident in Chapter 6 as I was like: " yeah come on where is Bodhi...I wanna use all these cool weaps on her."
Err I would try to do it above level 10 as you'll be more familiar with your skills. You can always to the dungeon's non-vamp bits first to see how it is.
P.S. How many vamps and how many mature vamps(spell casters) have you fought?

Before spiking the last vamp. in his grave (Lassal) set up a bunch of traps right around the tomb. As soon as you spike it, Bodhi appears. When dialog finishes and fight begins, she dies.

I guess I was misunderstood. I am sure I can handle Bohdi..what I am concerned
with is getting experience points before the game ends so I am even MORE studly
when my characters graduate to the next Baldur game.

There is a summoning spell later that you can use to get experience, besides ther is going to be a lot of experience for you near the end of the game.
