I stupidly wasted one of the awesome protection from magic scrolls earlier in the game, and now I just used another to kill the Demi-Lich Kangaxx. I think, w/ about a hundred tries, I might be able to kill Kangaxx w/o it. Is it worth trying over and over? Will I desperately need this hard to find scroll later?

You definitely don't need "that scroll". I've never used it but obviously it depends on your party make up and the spells your guys can cast.
