Some of the topics in this board mentions a "Staff of magic". What and where is this staff?? I have completed the game three times and done all the quests i`ve been offered, but i don´t recall this staff.

Ps. You don´t have to spoil me. Just name the quest

You must forgive me but..(silly look on my face).. Twisted Rune Quest? Have i managed to miss a whole quest on three times through?

indeed you have and its a fairly evil quest at that...

SPOILER........


Get a rouge stone, go to the bridge district, go to those locked houses next door to the tanners (detect traps), use rogue stone on door when opened. Now enter the twisted rune stone quest. Tough, toughest fight in the game probably....

Jesus!! How are you supposed to discover a thing like that without being spoiled??

Anyway, thanks alot for the help. I´ll look into this quest in my next game. I´m considering of being a mage so i can keep this staff all for myself.

If you have the rogue stone on you when you open the door, you get sucked in. So actually not THAT hard to discover (Nalia: shouldn't we go to the shop and unload these gems that we got? Jaheira: let's just check this last door...).
