I found a note a long time ago when doing the warewolf quest in the temple ruins....
it was the second half of someone's journal indicating to go to the south portion of someplace looking for colums and clusters of trees....

WHERE AM I LOOKING?

It's actually to the east of the starting point in the temple ruins (shade lord) area. If you talk to the mayor in Umar Hills, he will mark the temple ruins on your map.

This journal is a part of the ranger stronghold quest. You get the other part of the journal during that quest.
