The machine is at the end of the asylum in the rooms where you are tested by the spirits. You will enter a room with spirits sitting around a table. You will have to answer there riddles. You will need to answer the first three riddles correctly and then incorrectly on the last riddle. This will take to you the room with the machine. If you press the levers in the right order you will receive a item.
