Is there any way to protect (or help protect) my character from the spell Imprisonment?

I probably am wrong http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif but the only way to protect from imprisonment is for you to go berserk (if you are a berserker), other than that I don't know any way?!?

Use a protection from magic scroll, or the 5th level mage spell that protects the recipient from spells of one specific magic school. I forget what the spell is called, but it'll be in the BG2 manual. So cast this spell & choose the school that imprisonment is from, abjuration I think. Not sure, but I think this spell can only be cast on the caster, and not on other party members. Also, when enraged beserkers are immune to imprisonment, so if you have one in your party, use his beserker ability & send him up to the front lines as a distraction.

Spell Immunity is the spell that you want.

Cast improved invisibility on your main charecter and your enemy will not be abble to target him with spells.
