ok, i have just killed dermin and his fellow fighters and read in a walkthrough
that i have to wait for about 3-4 MONTHS(!) before the next thing will happen
and then i used cluaconsole to make time pass. about 4 months later i walk out off the building and nothing happens. i rest and nothing happens. i go out in the wilderness and rest etc,etc...and i have waited for awile and dont know what to do.

Do it the normal way, there is a set time between one event and the next.By the time you sleep all those times, HE should appear.

A few more conversations have to happen before the end though, and these are based on real time. Just let your computer sit till these happen. After each new conversation move time a couple of days ahead and then rest outdoors.
