What stronghold do spawn-offs, like blades, get? and how do I get it? and whats the deal the that damned sphere?

What sphere? The Planar sphere? And what deal are you talking about? Do you mean what is it? Or what is it doing there? Or is there a quest involved with it? Or do you actually mean the quest that is involved with it? To enter the sphere you need Valygar (either as a member of your party or as a dead body - item in the inventory) because he is the living key. Inside you do some stuff, end up killing Valygar's uncle, who created the damn sphere and if you are a mage or sorcerer you get the sphere as a stronghold.
