Just asking for thoughts on my combat tactics.

This is what I do:
My party currently consists of, if you didn't know from other threads...
1) me (dual wielding blade, woo!)
2) Minsc
3) Keldorn (with everyone's favorite sword, thanks Firkaag!)
4) Jaheira
5) Yoshi
6) Aerie

Before important battles, I have a buffing up session. Between Jaheria and Aerie, I cast this on the party:
Prot from Evil 10'
Bless
Chant
Defensive Harmony
Strength of One
Haste
Draw Upon Holy Might (myself. Hey, i'm a blade. might as well use it)

If it was necessary, I have Jaheria cast one or two fire elementals and haste them with the rest of the group.

When battle starts, I have Yoshi fire off arrows with a +2 Bow, while Aerie fires off magic. (depending on opponents, it is either Breach or offensive spells). Jaheria usually casts that advanced swarm thing that spreads over the enemy rather mightily. Sometimes she casts miscast magic. Then, if possible, she casts whatever is left and charges into the fray with her +2 Scimitar and wreaks havok with the melee team. If the situation is secure against magic users, Yoshi is free to backstab, which is a beautiful sight to see with some of the more intricate weapons I've found for him.

Keldorn, myself, and Minsc sweep in for the kill during the chaos.

Now, this usually works due to the fact that I simply overwhelm whatever I face. BUt if things get hairy, I have Aerie whip out the staff of flame and summon 3 more fire elementals and haste them with us. That usually does the trick. http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif
