So I did the stupid thing of trying to kill Renal Bloodscalp and got a whooping from Mr "Game-designers-thought-they-could-outsmart-Tricky" Gath..Mmm me thinks. I check the Forum, no real solutions there.
What is it about that sword of his? Makes Mad Martigan's Lvl 40 Barbarian look like a mage. Solution- Lvl 4 Priest spell,Death Ward . Cast this spell on your Main Character ( and others as well for insurance). Enter Renal Blood scalp area in Docks district, attack Renal with everyone bar your main character. As ever, Mr Gath pops up next to your main character and attacks. But, he discovers his God-like sword don't work too good anymore, leaving you time to kill Renal and his lackeys, pick up his loot and leg it! Mr.gath follows you outside but still only doing Short Sword damage. Find closest exit and depart.
