Hail and well met all!

Recently, I have decided to take a long break from my life in Everquest, a game I am sure all have heard of. Well, now I'm addicted to Baldur's gate II. And I was trying to get away from playing all night!

My question is this. I have come down to the temple ruins and am saved at a point about to enter. My current levels and characters are as follows:

Me level 10 beserker/dualed to a cleric level 6 (level 7 by the time I hit the Dragon)
Keldorn level 10
Minsc level 10
Jaheira level 9 fighter/11 druid (almost 12)
Jan level 9 mage/10 thief
Naira 11 mage

Can I take this guy? If so, any suggestions?

Maybe you can take him but i doubt it. I really doubt it. I went back at 16th level with
Me (fighter)
Minsc
Anomen
Mazzy
imoen

very fighter strong group all weilding double weapons except (even anomen)minsc. We beat him to a bloody pulp!!!!!! He really went down fast! I had Imoen stand in the corner and watch.

Ahhh, so at least I can go back to do it. Well, I'll just pass him by for the moment and take out the shadow lord and such and come back after I do all the other quests. I suppose Imoen can wait =).

The shadow dragon is beatable at these levels if you have a few things.....
magic resistance spell
monster summoning wand and/or spell
magic missile spell/wand
haste spell
range weapons for everyone
This is how I did it:
Use shadow dragon wardstone to cast magic resistance on dragon w/out it going hostile
cast monster summoning
haste everyone
cast magic missiles and use bows/crossbows/azerudge/slings
run my characters around and make the dragon chase me...
he never got an attack in on any of my characters. He finished of the summoned monsters with wing buffet/spells/attacks, but then I just summoned more http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif
