Hmm, guess I should have backed off a bit more. Anyway, these guys where actin like tools, so I kinda started a fight and offed them all. Two of em had full plate mail armor, and that is oh-so delicious. However, I'm trying really hard to NOT wantonly kill people. Most of the time its easy, but...

does killing them have any repurcussions I should know about? I didnt see my Rep drop at all (Well, they kinda half-started it http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...miles/wink.gif)

It may just be that the wanton murder of some people, even mercenaries, may have repercussions later on. The game is huge and it's impossible to see all ends early on. You may well miss out on a quest or two if you're not too careful. Nothing that will destroy or affect your game in any great fashion, but quests and XP are quests and XP regardless of the low life types you receive them from. http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif

There is a small sub-quest initialised by casting Limited Wish with a high enough WIS score. You've blown it buddy, because it uses these Mercs - http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gifhttp://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif

No, I didn't, heh. I reopened a saved game and opted not to kill em, yay!

Those dudes are required for the GONG quest. Its a pretty funny quest so ya don't wanna miss out on it. It is activated by the limited wish spell and choosing "i want an adventure like no other" This gives you a scroll which starts off the quest.

Phew! Thumbs up there then. Have fun when you get the limited wish thing (if WIS isn't high enough at the time, use a Potion of Insight)
