Is the manual wrong or do dwarves and gnomes ( or halflings, I can't remember) get magic and poison resistance?
|
No its right. Take a look at korgans resistance for instance (i was a poet and i didn't even not it).

Check out the Animate Dead - 2 measly skeletons is NOT one per level as it stated. http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...s/rolleyes.gif
There are many errors - I think they wrote that for a better description and not word for word truth. Another error? They don't mention the higher levels effects of the Chromatic Orb = like disintergration. (Too many...especially with the magic) ------------------ http://www.gis.net/~yos/lichwah.gif http://www.btinternet.com/~GWah2/mygreetings01.gif http://www.btinternet.com/~GWah2/myname001.gif http://www.btinternet.com/~GWah2/finalarch.gif |
but, chromatic orb doesn't work efficiently without greater malison and doom cast before it because the saving throw for the effects are +6.

also, as an avenger druid I couldn't turn into a lesser basilisk, just a stupid baby wyvern, and you just turn into a giant spider instead of a sword spider.
|
The manual also suggests that a Druid/Mage multi/dual class is possible. I always wanted a Shapeshifter dualed to a mage at level 14...sigh.
BTW Shapeshifter's Greater Werewolf form is MUCH better in TOB. ------------------ http://b3ob.hypermart.net/wiz14a.jpg "This place will be your tomb." |
