When I got to the Asylum stage of BGII, I had 6 players in my party and wished for Imoen to join my group. I left Nalia behind, despite her usefulness, and finished the chapter. I failed to find Nalia after this to get her to rejoin. She was not at the castle, nor at the copper coronet. My guess is that she's trapped in the Asylum, but that area is "Destination Unreachable". Is it possible to get back to the Asylum in chapter 7? Is Nalia really somewhere else and have I just not found her? Or am I screwed and forced to complete the game without her? Any help would be great, thanks.

I'm afraid you are stuck (or rather, Nalia's stuck). She's probably still where you left her.
After you complete her stronghold quest, you do not get the option for her to wait for you at, say, the Copper Coronet, or her keep or wherever. The only option if you want to drop her is for her to wait for you at where she is. Could be a bug, I suppose, or an incomplete dialogue script.
If you really want her back, the only was as far as I know is to cheat using the CLUAConsole thingie and 'teleport' to the Asylum to get her back.

The HADB (Hamlet and Dough Boy - don't ask!!) clan is a new Ironworks clan started by Azurewolf and Caleb. I don't think it's a true clan in the gaming sense, just a loose association of posters here at Ironworks. There's no regularly scheduled multi-play sessions for rxample or even a clan website.

Yep, it's been a helpful forum, but it's a disappointment that I have to ditch Nalia... Now, cheating is something I am familiar with, so I guess I'll just have to use it once... Thanks for the help.

I lost Jan that way. You have to go back with 5 characters and pick Nalia
up again. I dont know if it's worth the effort. Or the cheat method
as mentioned above.
