ok, so here i am in the mind flayer prison. i put some red stuff in some weird looking things in one room which woke up some poor bald guys. now i cant figure out what to do. there arent any more enemies. and there are only 2 doors and they are both locked. kind of stumped.

it's fairly simple. what you need to do is get control circlets from the machine in the room with the bald dudes. you use these to then trap a mind flayer (i.e. charm him by using the item on him) and get him to a door promptly because only he can open it. by doing this, you'll be able to proceed farther into the illithid lair.

i cant find any mind flayers.

there is one that reappears every 30 seconds or so on the right side of the compound. its behind a door, so keep looking!
