Just opinion:
Make sure your spell casters have decent WIS, since this affect your spell casting failure rates. Try to have higher INT for some fighters, there are mind affecting spells that can get annoying if your INT is too low. ALways have max STR, DEX, and CON for fighters. Max INT and high WIS for mages, a high DEX is also important for mages. Exp cap remover is not really cheating, it's your experience and you've earned it. ------------------ Long live H22A1!!!!! |
low wisdom affects only Priestly spells, mage spells never fail unless interrupted. I think wisdom does affect saving throws, but for that having wisdom 7 enough to escape all the penalties.
ABout your thief. I think Imoen has much better stats then that (well, her Dex is 18, not 19, but the difference is negligible...) |

I thought the casting rates applies to both mage and priest spell castings.

Personally I'd drop the thiefs charisma and add it to wisdom. You will get lore bonuses for a wisdom of 15 and above (which will help you ID stuff without magic) and you will be less succeptable to mind altering spells. You may need to drop Intelligence by a point or two as well to hit 15 wis'.
