I'm stuck in Windspear Hills. I've been through the whole area and fought everything. Everytime I go to Garren's cabin, he's never there. At the same time, whenever I try to enter the dungeon, I get the message that the passage appears to be blocked and I can't go in.

Am I missing something or did I do something so that I can't finish this quest?

You didn't miss a group of monster (who spoke to you) did you?

Garren should come to you after you kill them.
I think there're in the left hand side of the screen (W to NW)

I've ran into two groups that have talked to me one with ogres and others in it at the beginning and another bunch of werewolves. I've actually been over the whole place 4 or 5 times and still no Garren.

I thought the map brought you directly to the spot where u confront the
Monsters. Did you use the map or a code to get there? Otherwise look where
Wah mentioned, upper left corner.

Did you get sent to the hills as a quest? or did you just santer on over there and look around?
How its suppose to work, you are sent there as a quest from a guy you meet in the Copper Cornet. When you get there, you run into a group of monsters which are really knights. After you kill them, Garren appears and takes you to his cabin to chat.
If you just showed up, and explored the area, try going back to the Copper Cornet and start the quest, then return.

Sunder couldnt have said it better.... you have to be sent there as part of a quest you get in the Copper Coronet.
