Can you make symbols for spells and draw items in any Program to insert in item maker and spell maker?

and how do you get the items INTO the game?

Most in-game graphics are in BAM format so u need BAM workshop which u can get from the same place u got IEEP (teambg.com)

You can get the items into the game many ways...the easiest is with the cheat
CLUAConsole:CreateItem(".itm filenam")

Then u can edit a .STO (store) file to put it in there and buy it, or u can edit creature files and give it to creatures so that they drop it when they die and u can pick it up.
Yeah if u wanna do it properly, give it to a Lich or something hehe then u can kill the Lich and get it....editing the Lich01.cre file will give it to all normal liches in the game.

The bam workshop is good,but it where in the BG2 katalog are the pictures of items?
ì only found animations.
I want to take a picture to place in the inventory

I wuz having a problem with this also. I understood the part about editing the baldur.ini file, and I went to the game and entered the "code" to create an item, but after I entered that in, the item never appeared. How do I get it to appear?
Also, for the ctrl + whatever, I read at some other places that you have to enter something to be able to use these keys. Is this true? Or, during the game, can you just press those keys, and it automatically happens? (after editing baldur.ini of course).

what happens is: after you type the Debug mode=1 you can press the key combinations anytime. i like ctrl+ y and ctrl+j and ctrl+q

yeah at anytime you can hit control+space then once you create the item it goes right into your main characters inventory. maybe the item didn't show up because your main character's inventory is full.....
