Ugh....I been having my characters sleeping longer than
a coma patient but still no show on Jaheira's harper quest.
Last time the lady who approaches the group came when I played for the first time but I held off doing Xzar's quest until later then came back to
him and that's when it seemed to work. Not sure if Xzar's quest has
any connection to Jaheira's harper fiasco, but I was
just curious and thought maybe someone else might know.
This time I took care of Xzar first then wandered off to do other quests and so far no show. Tempted to knock on the harper HQ door and hand them their script. Heh.

In my games, for Jaheria's Harper Quest to proceed, I always have the following 3 events occur first before she was summon for the first time:
1) Bring back poisoned man to Harper Hold
2) Do the Harper Bird quest, i.e. Xzar
3) Protect Jaheria from a group of bandits when woke up after resting outside in the wilderness

It worked! I got mugged and that harper arrived. Accord I'm gonna
buy you an ale! Maybe two, I been mugged so...heh

Hmmm...
I just did it over the weekend, and I got summoned to see Galvarey (sp?) immediately after I finished Xzar's quest.
But this is in Chap 3 (I held off doing the thing until now).
