anyone have a trick to immediately pop a hidden thief OUT of shadows (for purposes of dialogues, etc)? i know most actions, such as opening a chest (but not a door) or picking a pocket, will pop you out immediately, but is there a way to get you out of shadows without the normal delay and without relying on another object/person?

why would you want to? you can still talk to people (which "pops" you out), or you could stick a poisoned dagger between their shoulders, which saves the effort of socialising.

Some people need to initiate dialogue with you, ant.

Just hit the "stealth" button at the bottom of the screen so that it is no longer lit. That will take you out of stealth mode and reveal you. It might not look like it right away on screen, but it works. http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif

Yea this is a problem for having one of your clerics heal you, can't cast on a invisible person. So you have to leave shadows first.
This is more annoying for a character you have casted invisibility on. You don't have stealth on your warrior you have invisible (grin) I just remove my weapon and punch a teammate. That usually does it.
