Why is that while your in your slayer form you quickly deteriorate while irenicus only gets to regenerate im a bit confused as to how that worked out

I think after taking your soul, you get the 50 cent version of the Slayer instead of the full monty 1.00 .

They make it so you can't stay in your slayer form long, the longer you are in it, the worse you get. This is to keep you from basically staying as the Slayer all the time and use it to fight.
Its suppose to be used when needed, not all the time.

The real reason is that Irenicus uses all ten fingers and all ten toes to display his collection of rings of Gaxx http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif
