I'm in the planar sphere and having trouble fighting Tolgerias and his fellow mage. Any good hints?

Keep in mind that he (as well as most opposition spellcasters) tends to cast spell turning, but NOT globe of invulnerability. This makes them vulnerable to area of effect spells not cast directly on them. Open with web, entanglement, etc cast between Tolgerias and the mage. Go for overkill, Jaheira casting entanglement and all of your mages doing web. Once he is entangled, you can cast breach and pepper him with arrows, cast fireball or area of effect attack spells NEAR (not on) him, etc. Feel free to be inventive.

One favorite of mine is multiple webs (but not entanglement), followed by breach and spider spawn. This makes short work of both him and his assistant.

I go in planar sphere in chapter 6.
I use Keldorn with boots of speed and carsomyr, Minsc with boots of speed dual wielding flail of ages and equalizer and my mage cast abi dazims horid wilting spell.
