Is the wizard slayer a poor class choice?

After Diviner its probably the single worst class in the game its supposed to rock in the addon though.

He's a challenge, if that's what you mean. You can't use any magic items except for weapons and armor. No magic bracers, rings, cloaks, boots, or even potions. That's right, you can't even drink healing potions.

The magic resistance does add up though. I can imagine a high-level Wizard Slayer being nigh invonerable to most magic.

The main disadvantage of Wizard Slayer is that he can not use healing potions. Disability of using magic items and other potions is not so important for me. But still I think this class is not bad choice. High magic resistance is very helpful, as well as ability to make enemy mages fail casting their spells with lucky hit. http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif

he can use magic boots! and in the exp, he can finally use potions! o glorious day!

The only class I want to try in the addons are the Druids and thats a maybe first time through its going to be the sorcerer

I'm going through with my Elven and Human Sorcerers first, and then my Human Dualclassed Cleric Of Lathander/Fighter.

After the sorcerer its going to be the monk to see how the viconia romance turns out, playing as the monk got a lttle dull at the end.

I think I'll just leave my paladin (cavalier) in the garage and start ToB with my berserker/mage(s), going to play good alighed and then evil first......
