My game keeps locking up on me, I keep getting runtime errors and shuch, I cant get out of the catacombs under candelkeep, every time I try and go to the last level of the catacomes, it either locks up on me on the auto save, or it give me an assertion error, tho it locks up more. I also cant get into the ruins that are uncovered by the guy who hires you to protect them.
PLEASE HELP. how can I keep this from happening?

You did load the patches right? sounds like a lot of problems you are having could be taken care of with the patch.

I agree with zeddicus. Hopefully, you have a problem that can be fixed with the patch. Let us know if you are still having trouble after the patch is installed.

Reinstall the game and get the patch. I had the same problem in a house in Bg city, and it didnt fix till i did that.

yeah, Thanx guys, I got it working, I reinstalled the patch agian and then found a patch for some direct ex stuff, not sure exactly what helped. but it's working now. thanx guys!!!!

Don't know if you are still posting but I currently have the same crash with that house (Just above the Marketplace)in BG City, yet I have BG and TOSC installed, along with the patch.

Does anyone know if I must go into this house, or can I ignore it?

The fault is in D:\Dev\Balders\CGameArea.cpp at line number 3752 and the creaturefile can't be found; GIRLBA1

Any ideas?
