Anyone know where the robe of good archmagi is in BG2??? i heard it was in trademeet somewhere...u should be able to buy it from a merchant right??? but i cant seem to find it anywhere...oh and i anyone knows a better robe for goodaligned chars...then please write that too

Yes, the Rob of Good Archmagi is in Trademeet. As for other good robes, I recommend Robe of Venca (only available from the bonus merchants), or if you have a fighter or thief/mage, then try Bladesinger (an elven chain, which you won't get until later chapters).
