How do you play a single player game using pre-generated characters vice the NPC's the game gives you? I have created several of my own characters and want to use them instead of the NPC's the game has. HELP!

Start a new multi player game this will allow you to create all 6 characters

Also, pick the IP game option, you don't need to be connected to the net to do so.

i was able to cut and paste my single player games into my multiplayer save folder, so I did not have to start over. Thats the easiest way.

Or if you want to play a single player game, just start a multiplayer game, import or create your characters and save the game.
Then you exit BG2 and open the shadows of amn directory. Go to the MPsave, copy your game, enter the save directory and paste the folder.
There you go, a single player game with five new partymembers. You can ditch them at any time to do some NPC quests and get back to them later.
