You must bow to the biscuit king and polish his throne of scone for 5 years to prove yourself worthy of the title of moderator.

Why would you want to do that? Moderators work tirelessly and thanklessly to met the whims of plebs like you and I whose only comments are often "The site's down again" or "why isn't my sig working".

You'd be restricted by the need to be diplomatic and represent the site well, and so not tell that moron who's asked the same question seven times and spoiled each time what you REALLY think of him.

You'd also have to do mundane things like eject trolls and creeps or censor rude comments written in Spanish. Do you know Spainish?

If you fail to meet these demands, beware! People may (horror) leave!!!

Yes, yes, like true leadership, Moderatorship is servitude. Slavery dare I say it! Bound forever by principles and the will of the people.
