Hello Fellow Gamers,

I have a small problemo in BG2 that has me really stumped.

Every time I level up my characters are only getting 1 Hit Point. This even occurs when they have a minimum +2 HP bonus (which would give 3 HP at the least, right?).

I moved the gameplay slider to every spot (including the one that should give me the max HP per level) and tried to level up and still only get 1 HP per level. This is making the game pretty tough.

I also installed the lastest BG2 patch but to no avail...still the same 1 HP per level every time.

ANY replies here are much appreciated.

ben, if u really want lots of hp and dont mind cheatin a little.. get the shadowkeeper editor for bg2.. it helps alot if u dont mind fudgin a little to help your group out http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif

AD&D rules, after achieving 9th level the character only gains 1 hp a level, regardless of Char's con.

I will definitely do that as my quick fix.

I think it is actually level 10 when this happens. Rogues/priests/monks gets +2 every level up, mages gets +1, and fighters get +3.

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...the 1 HP max after 9th level is according to the AD&D rules. Wow - i really forgot about that one. I kinda thought I was just misreading something there and that it really wasn't a bug. Getting the HP after level up was one of my favs toohttp://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif
