I've beaten the baddies on the first and second floor easily enough, but something on the second floor has me puzzled.
Each side of the level has a hidden chamber accessible through a concealed door. There's treasure in one; the other is barren. However, in these chambers are some sort of recessed alcoves that look like doors.
Are these important? Do they lead anywhere? How are they accessed? Is there any connection to the empty book table in the first left-side room on the first floor? What about the empty potion bottles? The books scattered about on shelves?

If those are the niches I'm thinking of, try detecting traps around them. they are secret doors.
