Could someone give me a description of how backstabbing works? My understanding is that it is a multiplier for the first attack out of hide in shadows. What determines whether or not it applies? How does it work if you are dual wielding?
Also, what is good armor for a thief? Thanks |
I'm not sure about backstabbing. Best armor for a thief i've discovered so far is SPOILER

Well backstabbing you have to attack an opponent while hidden from behind, you can basically almost use any weapon, longswords, shortswords, daggers, I never tried maces and such, never needed to. Its the first attack, I use 2 weapons and i never saw myself doing 2 backstab attacks comming out of the shadows, was only the first hit.
Its a great skill to work on, when I can kill a mindflayer with 106 damage in one hit, it rocks. And that was only with a swortsword +3. Imagine if I hit a undead with a double damage undead longsword, or a dragon with a +2 double damage dragon sword..OUCH! |
