Ok, I know this should be a no-brainer, but I just can't stand Edwin's snide comments and his superior attitude when I was doing the quests for Mae'Var & him. Now that Mae'Var & his gang have been taken care of (http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...miles/wink.gif ), I have the option of taking on Edwin, in which case Nalia will have to go (again!).

A few questions:
1. Will Edwin create problems if he's in my party? Minsc was NOT happy to see him.
2. Besides being as weak as a kitten, what are his other weaknesses?

My current party config: Kensai, Minsc, Jaheira, Nalia, Aerie, Jan.

given your current party. stay with nalia. minsc and him dont get along. (but if you want some fun go ahead and take him, then see what happens)
but generaly you want to keep edwin if you have an evil party
since your party is good. i'd leave him

Your party looks more like good aligned to me, so I would suggest you to keep Nalia. Besides being weak, Edwin also have low DEX...meaning a lower AC in comparison with other mages in the game. And yes, he and Minsc do not get along.
