I have a mixed CE and LG party (Edwin and Keldorn) and I always have to play a balancing act between high reputation for discount goods and less than maximum reputation to keep Edwin in the party.

Unfortuately, my reputation keeps on increasing due to quest successes.

Simple solution is to whack a commoner but that creates extra enemies (everyone in the area) and I lose 10 off reputation.

Are there any easy ways to just lose 3 or 4 points off reputation? Without creating a whole swathe of additional enemies?

yeah but it can be quite hard to keep under before if you do all quests...by the way turn in Valygar to the cowled wizzards... gives ya -1 I think

You get +2 reputation when you kick her out again,

the best ways is either go into a house and kill the inhabitans there, as Accord sayd, or use the slayer ability later in the game

Well if you are near drow city then you could go to a bar in the drow city(doubles as an inn)then go upstairs in that inn and pay a 100 $ and you see a guy explode and you lose 1- reputation!
