Hi All,

Jan died and I resurected him. This happened in the second area of the unseeing eye quest, near hte bridge. For the life of me I can't find his dropped items, so he has nothing whatsoever on him. I have moved the mouse all over the place and can find nothing. Is there a trick so I can get it all back?

Well, items WILL disappear on the ground if you leave them around for a bit too long......but you can always use either ShadowKeeper to add the items in your inventory OR enable cheat and use the CreateItem command to create your lost items.

If it hasn't been too long, try going to the graphics options screen and kicking the brightness and contrast sliders up. Then look again.

Sometimes you really think you have looked EVERYWHERE!! I have had the same trouble! But the items ARE there if you have not left the area for too long (no more than 2 sleep periods to be safe, though longer is usually ok). You need to move your cursor VERY SLOWLY in all the dark areas behind walls/scenery in the location where he died and make sure you cover every darn pixel. It has sometimes taken me AGES AND AGES to find dropped stuff, grrr!
Desuma_Malevois suggestion of turning up the brightness is a good one http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif

Yes this is annoying. Just keep trying.
Good job the ALT key will show up dropped stuff in ToB (as in HoW)

In TOB you will be able to press the ALT key to have items on the ground highlighted. Hope that didn't ruin the plot for anyone http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif
