When you get out of the underdark are you supposed to side with Drizzt against bohdi or just fight him ?

...and the answer to your question is either or. Depends on what kind of party you are playing. Evil parties will most likely want to fight him, while good ones should ask him for help. It's totally up to you. Be warned, though, that if you do attack him some good characters might leave your group. (I know Keldorn will, not sure who else...)

Jaheira and Aerie will. I foolishly tryed to kill Drizzt. Didnt help me being short 2 members and Drizzt had all his buddies helping him. It was a short fight

I had an evil party (myself, fighter/assassin, minsc, viconia, edwin, korgan and imoen)

Many characters have special dialouges in the Drizzt encounter too..
