No seriously, ranger/clerics (I'm hoping you're talking about dual-classed rather than multi-classed here) rule, but like every great class, they have their disadvantages.
I advise you to use him/her in close combat though, and not as a projectile-dude/dudette. They can use stuff like Crom Faeyr and Flail of Ages, so don't waste these items on other characters. Ranger/clerics are the perfect class to use this stuff, mainly because they got 2 bonus proficiency points in two weapon style. Trust me, I know (my R/C rules bigtime http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif).
