in March, I thought it was the nicest site I had ever been on - even better than the 3do site which has some really nice friendly and mature people - and I told quite a few people how nice everyone here was.

Pity it has changed recently. http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...les/triste.gif

Not to me, no. But I feel very uncomfortable with all the flaming there is recently. I used to love coming here; now I'm wondering whether to stay. It's all getting so childish. Just look at some of the posts here in BG2 forum to see what I mean, never mind anywhere else.

If you mean the TeamBG thing, Fljotsdale, I am truly sorry for that.

'Tis the way with things, alas, o Fljotsdale, especially discussion forums. A nice site can attract all manner of ne'er-do-wells who see the niceness of a forum as 'evidence' of a lax moderatorship in which they can wreak havoc. I have witnessed such sad declines in the past. But take heart! Just because of a small minority of troublemakers - and it is a minority atm, Helm be praised - does not mean the soul, the 'core' of the site, has died; far from it. But I would hate to see anyone leave, for it is usually the death-knell for a forum that people do leave - 'specially if it is such a reasonable, cheerful and relentlessly enjoyable poster such as yourself.
We'll clean up our act. Well, I will. I hope others do too. If not, then those in the wrong may find the usually pleasant moderatorship at Ironworks has teeth.

Don't worry if you don't get it dafan - it was really hilarious then with "evil smiting" and some other great threads like the "Phoenix Ruby" other stories.

When i first came on the board, i decided to cause some trouble and leave (through an infamous "Smiting" thread http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...miles/wink.gif).... but the mature people here have had a claming influence on this young hooligan http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif
