I was wondering if taking off the expierience cap cheating? My morale is very confused.

Let's put it this way. When you add Throne of Bhaal expansion the xp cap is removed anyway. So you could play through the whole game and NOT lose xp for it. So, if you intend to play your character through the expansion it is not cheating, simply working around initial limitations

some say yes some say no. i say no it isn't cheating 'cos your just going to get to those levels in ToB anyway (unless you use the lvl 50 exp cap).

I don't know if it'll make much difference to normal play. I played through the whole game, followed up every quest I could, and my party only really hit top-level just before Chapter 7.

Likewise through 1st game. However, 2nd game I was doing ALL the sub-quests and tpoped before I'd finished Underdark !!!

Actually, I think that ToB will set the XPCap to 8000000 allowing characters to reach between about level 35 and level 40 depending on class.
Of course u can always set your own XPCaps for each class by editing the XPCap.2da file. A value of -1 makes it infinite. |
