Well I'm a cleric/mage lvl 14/13 minsc lvl 17 and Imoen lvl 13... Am I supposed to stop lvling up or is this a bug??? cause I find it all to early

I believe your PC is multi-class, so level 14/13 cleric/mage is the max level achievalbe under the exp cap (exp points are split 50/50 so the max for each class is 1475000). As for Minsc, under the exp cap level 17 is the max the ranger can get. Only Imoen can still level up in your party as she is a dual classed mage and can reach the highest mage level, which is lvl 17.

What's your experience like? (too lazy to check the tables right now). If it's 2,950,000, that's the cap. If those are the only characters you're using, darn right it's early. The way the game is set up, you can have 6 characters pretty much the whole time and all should be at or very near the xcap if you do every quest in the game. Of course, if you have fewer, each character gets more, and you'll level faster. As an example, when I finished the game with my monk party (monk, minsk, keldorn, jaheira, nalia, and imoen), the monk, minsc, jaheira, and nalia were all at the cap, keldorn was very close, and imoen was lagging behind. If you've only got 3 characters (minsc, imoen, and and a cleric mage), you may very well have hit it halfway through the game.

Don't worry, you exp points still adds up (and it is in the game), as soon as the exp cap is remove you will gain back all your levels up to your actual exp points earned.

You can't get back the lost xp (although you can change the value with the appropriate cheat. However, there is a link on this site for the lvl 40 cap (Cheats section of main Ironworks page). Somewhere is a lvl 50 one too
