I am currently in an evil party with korgan, a monk (my main character), viconia, and edwin. I need a new character to "ctrl-q" into my party who is evil, can weild a two handed sword with reasonable profiecency and has no armour restrictions. I would give the person the silver sword and the soul reaver (only usable by evil characters). I can't remeber were soul reaver is though. I think there is another evil-only two-handed sword but i can't remember that either. Can anyone help?

ok, your playing the same party as me.
rather than control+q
try copying your saved game into your multiplayer save file. then load that game in multiplayer and create a new character. then you can customize and make what you want.
then save and copy that save into your regular saved game file

but korgans already a bezerker. i would like someone that would even the pary out a bit. And if you have an MP created character in single do they get a stronghold or only the main character does?

ok the two handed sword is kind of limiting us
we'll start at the bottom
barbarians can use 2handed swords. but only one +
all bard classes seem to beable to use them but still only one +
paladins (and all kits) can use 2handers with 2 ++'s. of course your aligne ment (and resulting reputation) will probably cause them to become fallen paladins, wich means they will probably loose their special abilities
rangers get ++
archer gets +
stalker gets ++ (but these will also become fallen)
which brings us to fighters,
fighters and all kits can have 5 +++++ in two handed, and that still leaves one for single weapon style.
i'm leaning toward a kensi, and if you go human, they can be dualed at about lvl 9 or 12 to thief or mage.
that would be a cool character.
