Is there such a thing? Or do they come under the genre of "fighter" and get d'arnise hold. I know heaps of you out there use monks so do monks have their own stronghold and if so what is it?

Yes they get their monastery quest from a stone dragon in the underdark....j/k yea they and barbarians qualify as fighters and get the same stronghold as them.

I think monks should get a Pagoda or something instead, or maybe a secluded mountain meditation spot,

It would be nice if they put a monastery in the temple district for your stronghold.
