No one is the best. They all have pros and cons. It depends on you team and how you play.

Yepp that's true, but my favorite is Minsc and Korgan.

The Problem I have is deciding to dump an NPC from my Team in favor of another. There are some NPCs I really wanted in my party but by the time I had encountered them (Vircona, Hear Dalis) the experience in of my existing NPCs was to high to take such a drop.

I am currently finishing off the last few quests before setting off to the Asylumn and wonder if the game is going to force me to take Imoen back into my Party. If so her experience will be drastically lower - especially as I have tried to finish all the quests before going to the Asylumn.

yeah, its all a matter of opinion. Minsc and Jan are inarguably the most funny. Viconia is the best to romance and is a kick rs cleric. Korgan is the best fighter.

Need xp? Buy/steal lot's of scrolls and let all the spell casters (NPCs) in the game read and remember them. I did it/doing it in ToB. You can gain so many points.

Very opinion based question, but- in TDD- Xzar and in bg2 normal- Vicona. those are my faves though and they are all pretty much of a muchness
