I've played good alignment twice and now i might play evil but i wanna know if it's got any different quests. I can think of one where you take bohdi's quest instead of aran linvales. But how would you get to the spellhold without aran's ship? I've played as mage and paladin and got their stronghold so far. What would you reccommend as a next-best stronghold? Don't worry, Bodhi will get you to Spellhold (the story must continues). As for strongholds, try the fighter stronghold, also give the ranger stronghold a try when you have idle time.

It's fun playing the game as evil. It'll take you longer to level up but you'll still hit the XP cap. There are a number of quests that you can complete differently, some of which are (minor spoilers coming up):

- the umar hills quest (minor adaptations to the storyline)
